About My Clients
I help teens overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, bullying, and trauma. I also work with adults facing a variety of concerns, including complex trauma, PTSD, ASD, and ADHD. I also offer couples therapy focused on enhancing communication and deepening connection. I welcome all couples (LGBTQ+ & poly couples).
My Background and Approach
I value authenticity and bring my genuine self into the therapeutic space. This may include moments where I get excited explaining counseling concepts or occasionally stumble over my words, something I see as part of being human and building real connection. My approach is trauma-informed and centers on helping clients regulate their nervous systems and find long-term relief. I am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and a Certified Mental Health Specialist in the EAGALA Model of Equine-Assisted Therapy. I also integrate other evidence-based modalities into my work and will soon be trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to further support trauma processing and nervous system regulation. I have experience working in residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs, community mental health, and private practice.
