About My Clients

I work with clients struggling with the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, relationship issues, isolation, and low self esteem. I tend to work best with those that identify as highly sensitive, artistic, and empathic. I am passionate about addressing the impact of oppression among marginalized adult populations (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, individuals experiencing financial hardship, discrimination, etc.).

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Seattle University and my training has focused on providing mental health care from a social justice, anti-oppression lens. I have worked as a mental health provider in a variety of settings including higher education, community mental health, and a group private practice with a focus on working with trauma among culturally diverse adult populations. My approach to therapy is direct, compassionate, and holistic. My philosophy is that all psychological issues stem from a disconnection between the mind, body, and spirit. I am trained in Eye Movement Densensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy which is a mind-body therapy approach which can resolve the lasting mental, emotional, and physical impact of stressful life experiences by activating the brain's natural healing processes. I am a trauma-informed therapist which means that we will explore your current struggles through the lens of any past stressors or traumas.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My personal values include authenticity, connection, self awareness, and social justice. I maintain awareness of my experiences of marginalization and privilege. I am wholeheartedly affirming of all those that hold marginalized identities and exist in communities that are actively being oppressed. I am dedicated to attending regular trainings related to anti-racism, social justice, and advocacy. I also actively seek out opportunities to participate in community advocacy and organizing work.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
