About My Clients
You’re a New Yorker doing your best to juggle work, family, and maybe even a social life. Like many others, you’re experiencing stress and burnout. Perhaps you’re originally from another country living between two cultures, or you’re an overwhelmed parent of a neurodivergent child. I specialize in helping clients from a diverse range of backgrounds navigate issues such as: stress and burnout, parenting neurodivergent children (autism & ADHD), anxiety and depression, unhealthy smartphone use.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with an MSW from Columbia University in 2014 and have since then worked with children, teens, adults, refugees and immigrants in a multitude of settings in the United States and abroad helping clients with issues ranging from stress and burnout, trauma, neurodivergency, parenting a neurodivergent child, anxiety, depression, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I live by the quote "The magic happens outside of your comfort zone". I believe we have to challenge and push ourselves outside of our comfort zone to grow. Im an avid traveler and have traveled for well over 30 years to over 70 countries, sometimes alone way off the beaten path. This alone has shaped me in ways I could not have imagined growing up in a small village in northern Sweden. I try to live each day with intention and balance and remember to stop and smell the roses.
