About My Clients
You don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone. I work with adults facing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma/complex PTSD, life transitions such as retirement, addiction, and chronic pain. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take the next step toward healing.
My Background and Approach
I take a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs. Depending on your goals, we may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic work, Rogerian Therapy, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based practices. I have a down-to-earth, gentle style and the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering tools, insight, and encouragement as you move toward growth and relief. I’m passionate about this work because I’ve seen the profound changes that happen when people are given the space and support to heal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe self-care is the foundation of the work we do and strongly advocate for people to take care of themselves mentally, physically, and spiritually. Animals can be a big part of our support system and I am actively involved in working with animals for the support of mental health. I also feel that connection to our culture, identity, orientation and support system are crucial for our well being. You will find me to be curious, open minded and eager to learn about you!
