About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, self-doubt, relationship stress, and difficulty setting boundaries. Many of my clients feel like they are holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed or disconnected inside. I also enjoy supporting immigrants, children of immigrants, and bicultural clients as they navigate family expectations, cultural pressure, identity, belonging, and staying connected to their culture while building
My Background and Approach
I am a bilingual therapist licensed in Tennessee and Maryland, with experience supporting teens, adults, couples, and families through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, and cultural or family-related challenges. I especially enjoy working with anxious overthinkers, people-pleasers, cycle-breakers, immigrants, and individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and culturally sensitive. I may use CBT, DBT skills, ACT, grounding strategies, family systems, trauma-focused CBT, inner-child/parts work, and gradual exposure techniques. My goal is to help you understand your emotions, recognize unhelpful patterns, strengthen boundaries, build self-trust, and feel more grounded in your daily life and relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I value compassion, honesty, cultural humility, and creating a space where people feel truly seen. As an immigrant and bilingual therapist, I understand how culture, family expectations, identity, and belonging can shape mental health and relationships. I care deeply about supporting teens, adults, immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people who have felt misunderstood, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in respect for each person’s story, values, and lived experience.
