About My Clients
I enjoy working with children of all ages and have a passion for family focused intervention to strengthen, heal, and move through difficult situations impacting family communication and closeness. I invite adults to engage in therapy with myself to find their path through parenting obstacles, as parents can benefit from a place to sort through their connections and obstacles in the difficult journey of parenting.
My Background and Approach
My specialties include early childhood mental health interventions, play therapy with school aged children, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, parent child interaction therapy (PCIT) and parent child care (PC-Care). I aim to create a safe space for children to explore their path to coping with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and stress while providing tools to guide their coping with thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are creating obstacles for them. Due to my parent child training, I believe parents and caregivers should be included in the therapeutic process in order to support their child’s mental health.
