About My Clients
Empowering Solutions PLLC is dedicated to providing high standard mental health care to individuals suffering from the impact of complex and/or chronic health conditions and pain. Our mission is to provide a safe therapeutic space that fosters support, understanding, and hope. We believe that empowerment is restored through the process of feeling heard and being equipped with knowledge and skills needed to transcend life’s challenges.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Salomon is the founder and lead clinician at Empowering Solutions PLLC. She holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her training and experience include both direct clinical care and program development within residential, outpatient, hospital, private practice, and community mental health settings. Her clinical specialization is in health psychology , as well as trauma recovery and working with underserved and exploited populations. Dr. Salomon is experienced in working with diverse populations and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Focusing on the individual’s relative experience, cultivating strengths, and collaborating with patients to foster healing and empowerment is the foundation of her work. She utilizes integrative and evidence-based methods, to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness, Somatic, and Psychodynamic based strategies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Personally, Dr. Salomon is passionate about traveling, culture, food, family and friends, and overall maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Her practice is driven by the belief that everyone deserves quality care, to be heard, and to be treated with dignity and respect.
