About My Clients
I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and relationship challenges. With my experience across diverse settings, I offer a warm, collaborative space grounded in our shared humanity—helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move through life’s barriers.
My Background and Approach
My background spans partial care, hospitalization, homeless services for veterans, and private practice—experiences that taught me the value of meeting people exactly where they are. Clinically, I integrate cognitive-behavioral approaches, relational and trauma‑informed care, and a strengths‑based perspective. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, OCD behaviors, trauma, and relationship challenges. At the heart of my work is the belief in our shared humanity: therapy is a collaborative space where we make sense of your experiences and build a path toward healing and connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My philosophy as a therapist is shaped by both my clinical training and my own healing. I believe that therapy is most transformative when it creates a space where people can feel safe enough to be human—messy, complex, hopeful, hurting, growing. I don’t see therapy as fixing what’s “wrong,” but rather uncovering the parts of ourselves that have been trying to protect us all along. Therapy has directly impacted my life, teaching me how to meet my experiences with curiosity instead of judgment. DBT in particular became a turning point for me; it helped me understand that two things can be true at once, that emotions can have purpose without being in charge, and that compassion toward myself isn’t indulgent—it’s necessary. Those lessons deeply inform the way I show up with clients.
