About My Clients
Are you looking to strengthen your relationships? Do you need help navigating challenges relating to anxiety, ADHD, Autism, or pathological demand avoidance/persistent drive for autonomy, or a disability? Do you need support managing stress relating to religious trauma or a faith crisis? I would love to support you. I currently offer therapy services for individuals, couples, and families.
My Background and Approach
After getting my undergraduate degree in art education, I stayed home raising my three kids. After experiencing the gap in services for families with special needs, I decided to pivot and got a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. I offer individual, family, and couples therapy with a niche in treating those experiencing disabilities. I am neurodiversity affirming, sex and body positive, and strive for cultural sensitivity. I incorporate humor in our sessions, and balance supporting clients with both validation and accountability. I am currently telehealth only. While I do not accept insurance, I can create a superbill to submit to insurance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives. I do not consider it my job to save a relationship or cure a client, but to serve as a guide and provide resources. I aim to help couples clarify their relationship and to help clients process their experiences. I provide lots of tools to assist in symptom management as needed.
