I am trained in EMDR therapy, a evidence-based treatment for integrating trauma. EMDR therapy is done alongside tradisitonal talk therapy and has been shown to be highly effective with all kinds of trauma- both “little t” traumas and “big T” traumas. If you have experiences that cause constant self-doubt, fear, or shame,  if you have PTSD or childhood trauma, or cannot stop thinking about a past abusive relationship or terrible event you witnessed, I can help you find peace.

I can help you integrate them with somatic therapies combined with a smattering of other interventions such as cognitive behavioral techniques that will incorporate your strengths, mindfulness, and self-compassion into your healing.

I use Lifespan Integration to connect you deeply to the story of your life. This therapy is a healing, trauma-aware imaginative process that helps with emotional regulation, heals attachment wounds, grows the person's ability to see themselves and others with compassion.

Lifespan Integration (LI) is a trauma-informed therapy that can help release trauma from any age of life, process challenging relationships, and heal attachment wounds. I am fully trained and currently in the process of the year+ long certification process for LI. I find it to be a truly healing experience, resulting in better boundaries, better self-assessment, and feelings of higher self-worth. It fosters understanding, forgiveness, and/or acceptance in the story of your life.

Sometimes we just need to understand how to face the mental garbage-fire of our automatic negative thoughts. CBT is a highly researched, evidence-based therapy which can help you learn to calmly address the thoughts that are causing harmful rumination and mental or emotional spiraling. We can use a step-by-step process or add a little CBT in to more somatic or verbal processing therapies to achieve the goals you set for our work together.

I work with neurodivergent folks of all sorts and welcome them happily into my practice. My sessions often are the place to discuss and process the challenges folks face, as well as healing the trauma that living in a world built for neuro-typical people causes. If there is a history of childhood neglect or abuse that fostered or amplified your neurodivergency, we can target this with Lifespan Integration therapy.
