About My Clients
Do you always feel like you’re just a little out of place, no matter where you are? I’ve been there—shaped by multiple Asian cultures, yet never entirely at home in one place. yet never entirely at home in one place. Moving from city to city taught me the ache of missing one world while learning to live in another. I know the quiet loneliness and the hope that comes with finding your place, and I’m here to share ways to feel rooted, connected, and truly yourself—wherever you are.
My Background and Approach
The approaches I use are ones I’ve refined over years of working with people navigating change, identity, and life’s challenges. Rooted in a person-centered framework, I blend psychodynamic understanding, internal family systems, and mindfulness practices to create a space where you feel seen and supported. We’ll look at the deeper patterns shaping your experiences, explore the values that matter most to you, and build practical tools you can carry with you anywhere. These tools aren’t just for sessions! They’re meant for real life, helping you manage challenges as they arise, find calm when things feel overwhelming, and connect more deeply with yourself. My goal is for you to leave our work together feeling more resilient, grounded, and able to live in alignment with who you truly are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know what it’s like to live with an unrelenting inner critic—the voice that says you’re never enough, no matter how hard you work or how perfectly you perform. I used to push myself to check every box, never let my guard down, and keep everyone convinced I was fine. Balancing two worlds while battling guilt for wanting something for myself was exhausting. But I’ve learned that these patterns aren’t who we are—they’re learned behaviors we can unlearn. Together, we can quiet that inner critic, learn to befriend it, replace self-judgment with self-compassion, and find the courage to show up authentically with the people who matter most. You don’t have to keep pretending you’re okay. You can feel okay and live with more freedom, confidence, and peace.
