I am passionate about veterans/military service members and their families. I have obtained a combat veteran certification through Michigan State University and taken CPT designed specifically for veterans/military. Additionally, I have been trained in a neurolinguistic processing modality (NLP) that can provide results for PTSD in as little as 2-3 hours!

Loss happens in a variety of ways. Most often we think of death however, there are numerous other disenfranchised losses that we grieve. I have experience working with clients who have experiences recent grief/loss as well as complicated grief/loss. I utilize Worden's 4 Tasks of Grief with clients which might not be as known as The Stages of Grief.

I am a firm believer that you can heal from PTSD. I prefer the term Post Traumatic Injury and Post Traumatic Growth. Have a diagnosis of PTSD does NOT mean you will be prevented from returning or continuing to work in the profession you love! I have been trained in a neurolinguistic processing modality (NLP) in which we will initially not even discuss the trauma(s) that you have experienced.
