About My Clients
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associated I practice counseling in Washington State. I am Chinese. I am bilingual Chinese and English Speaking and bi-cultural first-generation psychotherapist. I worked in variety behavioral health setting with children, family, individual, couple, and elderly. I utilize a variety of evidenced-based practices (attachment, psychodynamic, family systems, person-center, solution focused and cognitive-behavioral) and adjust my style to best fit your needs.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in the mental health and substance use fields for more than 15 years and received my Master of Art in Psychology emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in Phillips Graduate Institute. I work with adults, elderly, children provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling. I utilize a variety of evidenced-based practices (attachment, psychodynamic, family systems, person-center, solution focused and cognitive-behavioral) and adjust my style to best fit your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Counseling is not for everyone when you are not ready to move forward from your world. I personally been there and rode my emotional roller coaster. This life experience had provided me a deeper understanding of Me, who I am, and able to become who I really want to be today. It was difficult, scary, anxious, depressed, and all the unknowns when you had to ride the roller coaster by yourself, you don’t have to be because you have choice to have me by your side to ride your roller coaster with you.
