About My Clients
I specialize in treating folx ages 15+. Many of my clients represent intersectional marginalized identities and seek support related to these experiences. I primarily work with folx around neurodivergence, depression, life transitions, and the development of healthier relationships.
My Background and Approach
Therapy should be accessible for everyone. If you have financial barriers to accessing care, please reach out to me and we can discuss lowering your rate via a sliding scale system. My goal is to support you in embracing your authentic self by fostering self-awareness and self-compassion. I incorporate honesty, warmth, and a genuine approach to our work together. Whether you are seeking strategies to manage depression, process past trauma, or simply need a safe, confidential space to explore your identity, I am committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment to facilitate your personal growth. My approach is relational and incorporates principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and executive functioning skill development.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy should be a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel truly recognized for who they are and understood in their concerns and goals. I believe that in order for my clients to present as their full and authentic selves, I must also embody those principles as your therapist. My approach to therapy and daily life is rooted in anti-oppressive principles, which involve ongoing learning, unlearning, and active engagement in social justice efforts. Queer, people of color, disabled, trans, and other marginalized individuals deserve support and allies who can stand with them in addressing behaviors and rhetoric that harm our communities. I am committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive workplace for my clients and myself. Discrimination or prejudiced behavior based on gender identity, race, ability, sex, or sexual orientation is not acceptable.
