My Background and Approach
Hello! My name is Angela, and I am the owner of Stepping Stones Counseling & Recovery Solutions! Welcome to our practice! I have over 30 years’ experience and have made a lifelong commitment to help others. I have provided more therapy sessions than I can count, and I have dozens of techniques and skills that I can equip you with to meet your personal needs/goals. Further, there are several other therapist and addiction counselors in the practice all with over 10 years of experience. They, too, have an arsenal of tools and techniques that we believe will meet your needs. Our goal is to give you individualized treatment and help you find success! There is a wealth of experience in the practice, and we are confident that we can help can you live your best life! No problem is too big, or small. We are committed to helping you find the resources you need/desire.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Passion, and a true desire to help others! As we all have lived and tried to manage life during a pandemic, social injustice and our lives being turned upside down in general, it has become obvious that many people need the support and concern of others. I worked in an environment that deals with psychiatric admissions for both mental health and substance use disorders it has become very apparent there is lack of resources to support people in their communities. This is especially true in rural areas, and areas where the population is dense. Waiting list for services are months long and those who need services are left struggling to figure out what to do! Because of this, it just seemed like the right thing to do! It is our true hope and desire to provide supportive services in a non-judgmental manner where anyone can find support from people who truly do care!
