Women oftentimes hold the false belief that exhaustion, overwhelm, anxiety and hopelessness are part of the human experience. The truth is, we are not powerless over our emotions, including anxiety and depression. There is life after relationship loss. There is hope after disappointment. My Background and Approach
Your therapy can be designed any way you'd like. During grief and loss, many clients are simply looking for a safe place to communicate their private feelings and feel supported. Clients looking to make profound shifts in their lives, doing the work that it takes to evolve, require transparent conversations centered around difficult topics and "tough love." Relationship loss & panic/anxiety disorders are my niches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have been a client as well as a therapist. The client/therapist relationship must be a good fit for counseling to be effective. It's discouraging to seek out, schedule and pay for a few visits with a therapist that's clearly not a good fit. I require free 15 min consultations to all prospective clients.
