About My Clients
I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, and younger adults. I take a trauma-informed and person-centered approach when it comes to the therapeutic relationship as I believe each individual has a story that is unique and the approach taken should match that uniqueness. Life can get messy and so I strive to create an atmosphere that is safe, non-judgmental, and open to exploration so that individuals can feel comfortable opening up and sharing their life with me.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I graduated from Indiana University South Bend’s (IUSB) Social Work program with a Master of Social Work degree. I also completed my undergraduate studies at IUSB where I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Expressive Therapy (Play, Art, Music) techniques while also pulling in pieces of other clinical approaches in order to find what best fits the individual.
