If you’ve been navigating trauma symptoms, intrusive thoughts, or the emotional exhaustion that comes from surviving hard things, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to keep doing it by yourself."
My Background and Approach
With 7 years of experience supporting people living with HIV and 4 years specializing in trauma work, I’ve built a toolbox full of grounding, real‑life strategies that actually help in the moment. My goal is for you to leave therapy with several tools you can use anytime—whether your thoughts get loud, your body reacts before your brain catches up, or you just need a quick reset. My style is warm, direct, and human. We’ll talk about the hard things, but we’ll also keep the space manageable and sometimes even light. We start with what’s happening right now and explore how trauma affects your mind and body. Together, we’ll build skills that help you feel safe, grounded, and more in control of your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves safety, dignity, and access to affirming care. I support women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, and sexual health education. I believe Black lives matter and that Black and Brown communities deserve care without fear of discrimination or judgment. I’m agnostic and welcome clients of all or no faith backgrounds. I’m committed to reducing stigma around HIV, mental health, and identity. My goal is to create a space where people feel seen, respected, and empowered to show up exactly as they are.
