About My Clients
Hello, I specialize in helping couples increase the level of emotional intimacy in their relationships and those looking to end conflict patterns leading to disconnection. I am also passionate about supporting clients identifying as women who are experiencing anxiety, depression, codependency, overwhelm, needing to address PTSD/ trauma symptoms and those learning how to show up authentically in relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in and draw on Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe you are an expert on your experince and my role is help you tap into your inner voice to create the life and relationships you desire.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have worked in both community mental health and group practice settings and understand the complexity of how our personal histories show up in the now and influence who we are and what we are seeking. To me the purpose of therapy is to improve the quality of your life. As we start our work together, I look to first clarify your therapy goals and understand how you naturally experience life in order to provide the best match of clinical interventions to meet your goals. Our work is always collaborative, and I strongly believe you are the expert on your experience. I look to you to guide on what resonates and utilize the therapeutic space to practice being in an authentic relationship with both yourself and others. When working with couples I understand the complexity of feelings and experiences intimate relationship can bring out in us, and the yearning for feeling support, emotional safety and connection.
