About My Clients
Hello! My patients range from mom's experiencing postpartum difficulties, college students managing autism symptoms, to individuals coping with a medical diagnosis. With much else in between! I pride myself on being an advocate for my patients, while inspiring them to remain hopeful that with the right tools and support, their quality of life will improve.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Kern has a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, a doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Psychology, completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology, and is completing a certification in Perinatal Mental Health. Dr. Kern's background allows her to utilize the biopsychosocial and brain-based perspectives to apply a broad-spectrum approach when evaluating and treating individuals. She has been described by patients as sincere, compassionate, respectful, and appreciative of diversity.
