About My Clients
Navigating Identity & Culture: I welcome individuals carrying the weight of intersecting identities, including Asian Americans, 1.5- and second-generation immigrants navigating cultural pressures, and those at the intersection of faith and LGBTQIA+ identities. Healing Trauma, Anxiety & Depression: I help those weighed down by complex trauma; PTSD; chronic anxiety manifested in the body; and deep-rooted or hard-to-name depression
My Background and Approach
I integrate psychodynamic, Jungian depth psychology, IFS, and somatic modalities to help you process and reframe. Because trauma and anxiety live in both the mind and body, I blend insight-oriented exploration with practical DBT/CBT grounding tools so you can gain emotional stability and regain control of your life. Whether you are navigating cultural identity, trauma, or life transitions, my approach provides a safe, affirming space where your experiences are validated, empowering you to live authentically as your true self
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every individual holds a rich tapestry of cultures, identities, and lived experiences that deserve to be honored without judgment. As a 1.5-generation Korean immigrant, my personal journey of navigating cultural adaptation and belonging deeply shapes my commitment to providing anti-oppressive, multicultural, and LGBTQIA+-affirming care. I stand for creating a safe, inclusive space for any communities, particularly those navigating the complex intersections of faith, identity, and mental health. Having trained in depth psychology and worked within LGBTQIA+-affirmative spaces, I am dedicated to honoring both spiritual background and authentic self-expression. Outside the therapy room, I find joy in exploring local food cultures and finding inspiration in music that promotes healing and self-compassion. I am honored to walk alongside you as you re-author your story and embrace who you truly are.
