About My Clients
My clients are people who want to move from feeling "stuck" to having a greater sense of purpose, empowerment and clarity. I am passionate about working with young adults, adults, and couples from all backgrounds. I am equipped to work with a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, stress, adjustment issues, faith, and LGBTQ+ issues.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I view my role as First Mate to your Captain. Your life is a journey. You are in charge of the route and destination. My job is to pull from my experience, education and knowledge to help you navigate the murky waters. I prefer to integrate technique and interventions from different theories and treatment modalities. As your first mate, I want to find what works for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Quite simply, I believe that all human life has value. I've encountered a lot of people in my career who just don't believe that they matter. Regardless of where you are from, what you look like, who you love...YOU ARE IMPORTANT. I take great responsibility in helping others know their worth.
