As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am dedicated to understanding mental health and the impact it has on the mind, body, & soul. This means taking a holistic approach examining not only the person, but their environment, collective experiences, and interpersonal trauma in hopes to assist with navigating life and breaking toxic cycles. Our mental health serves as the foundation for our everyday functions. We need to THRIVE & not just survive.
Left unmanaged this may lead to heightened anxiety, overwhelming sadness, bouts of anger, low self-esteem, dysfunctional relationships, maladaptive fears (such as of abandonment or failure), hypervigilance, people pleasing, self-sabotage, or an inability to regulate emotions effectively. It can feel incredibly lonely, but therapy can help. Together we will identify and confront past traumas, distressing memories, and other painful experiences that subconsciously prevent us from thriving and reaching our full potential.
