About My Clients

I work with adults, adolescents, and international clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, relationships, identity, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are expats, international professionals, students, or LGBTQ+ individuals looking for a therapist who understands the challenges of living between cultures. I also enjoy working with teens and families, helping young people develop emotional awareness, confidence, and healthy ways to express themselves.

My Background and Approach

I am a US-trained Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from The George Washington University and over eight years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, combining relational talk therapy with creative and body-oriented approaches when helpful. I draw from approaches including parts work, mindfulness, attachment theory, nervous system regulation, and expressive arts to help clients better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Before moving to the Netherlands, I worked with children, families, couples, and adults in community, school, and private practice settings. I now provide English-language therapy in Utrecht and online for people seeking a warm, collaborative space to explore their emotions, relationships, identity, and personal growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when clients feel accepted, respected, and genuinely understood. I value curiosity, compassion, authenticity, and creating a space where people can explore all parts of themselves without judgment. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am passionate about providing affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ clients and others exploring identity, relationships, belonging, and self-expression. I have always been drawn to creativity as a way of understanding human experience. Outside of therapy, I enjoy art, writing, fitness, nature, and exploring the relationship between creativity, the body, and emotional wellbeing.
