About My Clients

I work with children, adolescents, families, and LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating emotional, behavioral, identity, and relational challenges. My approach integrates CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, along with play and expressive therapies. I aim to create a safe, affirming, and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, strengthen coping skills, and build meaningful connections with themselves and others.

My Background and Approach

I am a dedicated therapist with experience supporting children, adolescents, families, and LGBTQIA+ individuals through a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I hold advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, as well as play and expressive therapies for younger clients. My background includes working in both outpatient and community settings, helping clients develop emotional regulation, communication skills, and healthy coping strategies. I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring their unique identities and experiences, and fostering an environment of acceptance and growth. My goal is to help clients build resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful connections that support lasting change. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, or identity exploration, I strive to empower each person to discover their strengths and move toward healing and balance.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the power of authenticity, compassion, and connection as the foundation for healing and growth. I value inclusivity and strive to create a space where all clients feel seen, heard, and affirmed—especially those from marginalized or underrepresented communities. I am an ally and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and strongly support social justice, equity, and mental health awareness. My approach is rooted in empathy and respect for each person’s lived experience. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions with confidence and self-acceptance. Outside of my clinical work, I’m involved in community outreach focused on youth mental health and reducing stigma around seeking help. I believe therapy should empower people to not only heal but to thrive—living more connected, balanced, and authentic lives.
