About My Clients
The clients I see are often looking for meaning, new understanding, or processing the trauma they have experienced in life. They are ready to take an attitude of curiosity and reflection towards the patterns and beliefs that no longer serve them. You may be experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustments, or relationship stress and are hoping to relate to emotions in a healthier way. It could be your first time in therapy or are returning to address matters from a new light, I'm glad you're here.
My Background and Approach
I work with folks from a variety of therapeutic disciplines so that we can tailor your needs and goals for the best fit and outcomes. My practice philosophy is rooted in relational, somatic, and systemic frameworks. I view the therapeutic relationship as a powerful space for healing and change that honors safety, authenticity, and collaboration. Through approaches such as IFS/Parts work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Brainspotting, I aid clients in removing the inner barriers that are keeping them from living their best life as defined by them. Through a nonjudgmental, balanced, and regulated presence, I try my best to be your advocate, safe space, and collaborator.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Through my personal experiences of meditation retreats, plant medicine, and holistic healing, I believe that well-being is an interconnected experience between the mind, body, and spirit. I believe that difficult emotions and experiences are an unavoidable part of life, but that we can make the most change in our relationship to these feelings. I too have struggled with my own mental health but can testify to the value of a supportive and attuned therapist in navigating this journey of life we are all on. I find relief, meaning, and connection through nature by trail running, surfing, and snowboarding. I also find my flow state with playing guitar and making stained glass art.
