About My Clients
You may be tired of editing yourself—in relationships, family, creative work or even therapy. Perhaps you are navigating queer identity, shame, grief, estrangement, recovery or the complexity of an open, polyamorous or kink-affirming relationship. I work with adults and couples who want a place where their lives do not need to be translated before we can explore what hurts, what keeps repeating and what needs to change.
My Background and Approach
My style is warm, direct and depth-oriented. I integrate IFS, psychodynamic and interpersonal work with CBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy and motivational interviewing. We can connect present struggles to older patterns without losing sight of the decisions, boundaries and conversations that matter now. I will help you notice protective parts, examine the stories you have learned about yourself and develop practical ways to respond differently. Therapy can be serious and still contain humor, creativity and moments of relief.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should make room for the full complexity of a life, including identities and relationships that are often misunderstood elsewhere. As a queer clinician and artist with lived experience of grief and loss, I care deeply about belonging, creative expression and the freedom to build relationships that fit the people in them. My role is not to prescribe a conventional life. It is to help you become more honest with yourself, more connected to the people you choose and more able to act from your values.
