About My Clients
Our family and community are very important but may be toxic at times. My ideal clients are those seeking to explore ways to work past these situations and other of life’s challenges. We often choose our fandoms because of how we relate to the characteristics of the characters. We see traits in them that we have or would like to have. My drive is to help others find the power within themselves to meet the challenges in all stages of life in a shame free environment.
My Background and Approach
I have attended many local fandom conventions since about 2010 and have volunteered at many of them since 2020. I am very supportive of cosplay and anthropomorphic communities. I have also been actively supporting the LBGTQ community through various volunteer organizations. I was also part of a non-profit focus on empowering marginalized communities by bridging the gap through artistic expression, and community discussion panels. Since 2013 I have done work with the harm reduction community by focusing on patients' needs and abilities to achieve substance use recovery through many different paths. Those that are part of these communities often face shame and stigma. I help them work through these issues and help them realize their full potential. Labels are not the focus when working together. Working together we will prioritize what is most important to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in being true to oneself. I may not fully understand or relate to what an individual may be going through, as we all had different adventures and experiences in life. I strive for an authentic connection with my clients focusing on growth, empowerment, and healing. I believe in strengthening our world by bonding in the areas where our various communities connect and learning about the many ways that we are different. Unfortunately, the world can feel very unwelcoming at times but having those difficult conversations and respectfully helping others understand our differences will help empower us as individuals. It is the differences that keep life interesting and keep us growing as a global society.
