About My Clients
been able to move past. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, trauma, relationships, self-confidence, or simply feeling disconnected from the life they want. I especially enjoy working with men who may not feel comfortable with traditional therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming in—we can start wherever you are.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that therapy should feel like a genuine conversation—not a clinical interrogation. I work to create a space where you can speak openly, explore difficult experiences, and be challenged when it’s helpful without feeling judged. My background includes working with adults and adolescents facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, substance use, and major life transitions. I have received training in EMDR and the Flash Technique, which can be used to help address distressing memories and experiences. I don’t believe there is one approach that works for everyone. We’ll look at what is happening in your life now, where certain patterns may have come from, and what can realistically help you move forward. Sometimes that means processing the past; other times it means developing practical tools, changing patterns, or simply having a place to say what you’ve been carrying.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that our past shapes us, but it does not have to define us. People are capable of change, even after years of feeling stuck in the same patterns. Therapy isn’t about becoming a different person—it’s about understanding yourself, recognizing what is holding you back, and deciding what you want to do next. I value honesty, personal responsibility, compassion, and humor, and I believe meaningful growth often comes from learning to give ourselves grace while still challenging ourselves to move forward.
