My Background and Approach
I am a psychologist with over 10 years of experience guiding others through their struggles. I have a three-pronged approach to therapy based on empathy, knowledge, and experience. Empathy. I know how hard it is to ask for help. That’s why I have a deep respect for what it takes to reach out. Empathy helps create the safety and room for growth to happen. Knowledge. I have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. As a psychologist, I am committed to staying up-to-date on the latest research and evidence-based practices. Using my knowledge in assessment, I will work with you to identify some root causes of your struggles and develop a plan to address them. Experience. My expertise extends beyond books. I've trained at some of the most prestigious institutions in the region, completed an APA-accredited residency, finished a postdoctoral fellowship, and have thousands of hours of direct clinical experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in inclusivity and acceptance. Although I have special insight into working with clients from certain backgrounds, I accept clients from all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs. I also understand that it is impossible to agree on everything. I have a deep conviction for honoring each other's differences and working through them with curiosity, understanding, and acceptance.
