About My Clients
Growing up as a first generation can be quite overwhelming because there is a lot of navigating that we are doing. There's intergenerational trauma, generational differences within our familia members, and you have your own traumas and challenges. All you are trying to do is be yourself without fears y preocupacion of el "que diran". I help first generation brown/latina/chicana young mujeres regain their confidence and live authentically without the fears, anxieties, and guilt.
My Background and Approach
I use a variety of whole-istic methods and tools that are each individualized for you, what you need and are experiencing. We will discuss mind, body, and spirit, culture often. My background includes helping folks step in to their authentic and genuine self, so that they can show up in places without fear, worry or overwhelm. When you are sure and confident of who you are, the rest can be handled. As POC, we have to deconstruct and unlearn colonized ways and patterns to show up. Lets have the discussions, I gotchu.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that each one of us has what it takes to heal. We have been colonized and constructed to believe otherwise. I know that once one begin to step into your authentic self, the more liberated one feels, the more relief the body experiences and more things around us fall into place, or in our favor. I believe in divine timing and that things happen the way they are supposed to, good and bad. It is up to our own interpretation of these experiences that will either have us stuck in a moment in time or stepping into the life we desire. Periodt.
