About My Clients
I work best with adults navigating trauma, chronic stress, betrayal, attachment wounds, anxiety, grief, and painful relationship patterns. Many of my clients feel stuck in survival mode, disconnected from themselves, emotionally overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to “hold it together.” I specialize in EMDR and nervous system-focused therapy for people who want deeper healing—not just coping skills—and who are ready to better understand themselves and create lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified EMDR Therapist, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with advanced training in trauma treatment, nervous system regulation, attachment wounds, and complex PTSD. My work focuses on helping clients move beyond simply managing symptoms and toward deeper, lasting healing. I specialize in EMDR therapy for trauma, anxiety, betrayal trauma, grief, chronic stress, relationship difficulties, and longstanding patterns rooted in childhood experiences or painful relationships. Many of the people I work with are highly self-aware and capable, yet still feel emotionally stuck, reactive, disconnected, or exhausted from constantly living in survival mode. My approach is collaborative, honest, and grounded. I integrate EMDR with somatic and parts-informed approaches to help clients understand why they respond the way they do, reduce emotional overwhelm, and develop a stronger sense of safety, self-trust, and self-worth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens best in spaces where people feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and free to show up as themselves without judgment or pressure to “perform wellness.” My work is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and respect for the complexity of human experience. I support clients from diverse backgrounds and identities, including LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, first responders, healthcare professionals, and people recovering from difficult family systems, toxic relationships, or high-control environments. I value inclusivity, autonomy, and helping people reconnect with their own inner voice—especially after trauma has taught them to disconnect from themselves to survive. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I am direct, down-to-earth, and human in the therapy room. I believe therapy can be both deep and compassionate without feeling overly clinical or disconnected. Humor, honesty, and real relationship matter.
