About My Clients
I specialize in anxiety disorders, postpartum mental health, PTSD, and life events. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I enjoy working with motivated individuals or individuals who want to find their motivation. I focus my practice on finding the touchstone event and core beliefs that are causing symptoms/distress in your life. In my experience, using EMDR and a psychodynamic approach has significantly improved the lives of clients in comparison to alley treating the symptom.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor (LPC-S) and a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). I am certified in EMDR and I am a consultant-in-training. The training I have received allows me to understand how adverse life experiences create memory networks and affect behavior. My goal is to share this understanding with you and create a treatment plan that will guide you towards success, in and outside of our counseling session.

I believe it is important to acknowledge and honor each person’s unique background, ethnicity, beliefs, sexual preference, and values. I believe in listening to my clients, creating a treatment plan we both agree on, and using evidence-based interventions.
