About My Clients
I’ve worked with many people in different steps and paths of life. I meet people in some of the hardest moments of their life whose bubble has closed in around them so tightly that they feel stuck. I set out to empower you and instill hope when there doesn’t seem to be any hope left. Together, we will develop skills focused on expanding your bubble and rebuilding your blocks of life to something that fits the You of now and allows for growth in the future.
My Background and Approach
I have personally struggled with many effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) for most of my life and believe that most people are managing challenges in their adult life because of ACEs earlier in life. From my personal experiences and from experiences I’ve encountered from folxs I’ve counseled, I’ll often use this lens to conceptualize you and our counseling relationship. I strive to be an empowering, supportive person-centered & solution-focused counselor. I intend to give you a safe space during our time together and will meet you where you’re at. Every person has their differences and I hope to empower you to face, challenge, and overcome whatever brings you to counseling. Therapies I often rely on are: Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

I believe that accessibility and affordability in counseling are important and I am working to ensure that my services reflect both of those tenants.
