About My Clients
Do you remember a time when feeling anxious or hurting wasn't the “norm”? Do you wish you had the tools to change that? I am passionate about helping adults just like you: ones that are tired of walking through life feeling anxious and hurt. My goal is to assist you in understanding the root causes of your anxiety and trauma, help you gain insight into your behaviors and emotional responses, and equip you with practical skills to help you live your best life.
My Background and Approach
I practice from a place of compassion, validation, and hope. My approach to therapy is to create a safe and supportive space where we highlight and build on your strengths, insight and knowledge of yourself to help you grow, heal, and move forward. I use tools from various treatment methods to tailor therapy to your unique concerns and needs. I have training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level I & Level II.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The hardest part of any journey is to take the first step… Embarking on a counseling journey can be a very scary, overwhelming, and painful process. It requires tons of courage and vulnerability. I believe that often we are stronger, braver and more resilient than we give ourselves credit for. Sometimes, all we need is validation, support, and encouragement to regain our confidence and learn how to navigate life’s challenges.
