About My Clients
I partner with my clients in finding the right individual path for each person's needs through a combination of psychodynamic dialogue (connecting early life experiences) and cultivating self-care and stronger tools for life balance and self-forgiveness. I bring in resources from my training in integrative mental health, a certification that gives us an extra lens to explore physical health, lifestyle, gut microbiome, sleep, and stress tolerance with your mental health.
My Background and Approach
I primarily harness the power of psychodynamic therapy, healing emotional wounds from the past with increasing mastery, and I also assess wellness in your life. I utilize holistic mediums such as guided relaxation, visualization, narrative journaling exercises, and more. I've recently started offering ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for clients who desire a deeper, more immersive and short-term format for trauma, depression and anxiety. I understand the difficult journey of setting healthier boundaries for oneself as I have worked through this challenge myself. I offer guidance in this area by identifying what your relational boundaries feel like, how they can be mended, and play out new patterns together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My formative professional career was in community-based social work and it is where my heart lies. My training and personal beliefs have led me to feel that all people are good, and all people deserve to have the sense of belonging. I also believe everyone deserves wellness in their life, a practice that in my opinion can only spread positivity and benefit to the world. I believe in the mystical, wondrous parts of life and love to connect to my own spirituality through mindfulness, ritual, self-care, dance, music, and simple acts such as lighting a candle with a personal intention.
