About My Clients

Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship challenges, or unexpected life changes? Maybe you're struggling to set boundaries, express your emotions, or feel like yourself again. You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. I work with teens ages 12+ and adults, offering a compassionate, judgment-free space to explore your feelings, build confidence, and develop tools for meaningful change. Counseling is available in English and Spanish.

My Background and Approach

My approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and centered around your individual needs. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, expressing your emotions, and exploring life's challenges without fear of judgment. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen communication, and build confidence. Together, we'll explore what's happening in your life, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that support lasting change. I understand that everyone's experiences, backgrounds, and circumstances are different, which is why I tailor our work to what matters most to you. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationships, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward at your own pace.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are. Growth and healing are not always linear, and I don't believe there's a single path that works for everyone. Our experiences, relationships, and cultural backgrounds shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. I value creating a space where you can show up authentically, without pressure to have everything figured out. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe enough to be vulnerable, explore difficult emotions, and discover your own strengths. As a bilingual counselor, I recognize the importance of feeling understood in the language and cultural context that feels most natural to you. At Aquí Contigo Counseling, which means "Here With You," my belief is simple: you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone, and asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
