My Background and Approach
Embracing your emotions, embodiment and needs has been shown to alleviate feelings of depression, stress, and anxiety, while enhancing confidence, productivity, and overall resilience. Imagine feeling connected with a life that incorporates respect and care for you and others every day. Framework: I weave an Anti-racist, Feminist, and HAES model seamlessly into my practice with each client, no matter the focus. It is a disservice to be a mental health provider without recognizing the oppressive systems, such as patriarchy and White Supremacy, that shape and shadow our lives each day. In harmony with Trauma-informed CBT, I also delve into Attachment theory, captivated by its insights into the unmet needs of early development, which illuminate the struggles of adulthood and diminish shame. Central to our collaborative journey will be mindful self-compassion strategies, guiding emotional regulation and resilience.
