About My Clients

I work with adults and teens who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or life transitions. Many of my clients long for greater emotional stability, clarity, and self-acceptance, but are unsure how to get there. I especially enjoy working with those who are open to creative approaches like expressive arts therapy, as well as clients seeking a safe, faith-informed space to process their experiences and move toward healing.

My Background and Approach

I am an intern therapist at Christian Counseling Services, offering in-person sessions in Surprise and Goodyear, as well as telehealth across Arizona. I hold a Master of Science in Counseling from Prescott College and am completing a post-graduate certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy. My background in community mental health includes supporting adults and teens facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, and personality disorders. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, combined with expressive arts, to help clients gain insight, process emotions, and develop practical tools for change. For those seeking faith-based support, I integrate spiritual perspectives in ways that align with each person’s values. I am also pursuing EMDR training to expand trauma treatment options. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward greater well-being and purpose.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My work as a counselor is grounded in empathy, creativity, and my Christian faith, which calls me to meet people where they are and walk with them through both struggles and victories. I believe every person is inherently valuable and deserving of compassion, dignity, and hope. I am passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe to express themselves authentically, whether through conversation, creativity, or quiet reflection. Outside of counseling, I enjoy making art, spending time with family, and exploring Arizona’s beauty. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I am committed to fostering a supportive, respectful space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
