About My Clients
I primarily work with adults and adolescents. I have experience with complex trauma, postpartum depression and anxiety, depression, anxiety and difficult life transitions such as, parenting, divorce, new relationships, unexpected pregnancies and more. I love to incorporate mindfulness and spirituality within my work and enjoy working with mothers/birthing people.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2022 with my MA in Counseling. I have experience working with trauma, difficult life transitions, non binary folx, LGBTQ+ individuals, new mothers, those struggle in marriage and more. I take a person-centered approach to counseling. For me this means that therapy begins by creating a safe space for all of my clients through empathy, and a relationship free of judgement. Additionally, I incorporate body-centered mindfulness, somatic interventions and CBT techniques within my counseling approach. I truly believe in a holistic approach to mental health care. I don't just see my clients as their diagnosis or their struggles but as a whole person with the ability to overcome their adverse life experiences. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR and enjoy using this modalities with trauma survivors.
