About My Clients
I welcome all clients, and am culturally-sensitive, LGBTQA+ and neurodiversity affirming. I have experience working within many areas, including identity and belonging, life transitions and unexpected changes, work/school pressures and burnout, relationships (family/romantic/friendships/peers), anxiety and stress, eco-anxiety, depression and disconnection, addictions (substance use/gambling/digital), trauma healing, and spirituality and embodiment.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Washington and Massachusetts, and I have been practicing since 2010. Therapy with me is fluid, and involves a mixture of deep processing and more structured skill building. I am trauma-informed and culturally-responsive, and I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and mindfulness-based practices, grounded in values of anti-oppression, compassion, and Buddhist philosophy. As a somatic trauma counselor, I believe that greater healing occurs through reconnecting with our bodies, and listening to what it may be telling us, in addition to making sense of our thoughts and emotions. As an IFS therapist, I believe that we are comprised of multitudes, and that giving our many parts attention and care leads to greater internal harmony and external freedom. I trust in the body’s innate wisdom, and believe that we all have an essential nature that can guide us towards healing and flourishing.

I respect and honor your whole multifaceted self. I see the therapy space as a refuge, one where our deepest fears and greatest hopes can emerge, be seen, and held; where you are empowered to confront darkness, heal wounds, and find liberation from suffering. I hold, actively practice and strive to embody my values that are grounded in anti-oppression, compassion, and Buddhist philosophy. I am LGBTQA+ affirming, neurodiversity affirming, and am passionate about the Earth and animal rights.
