About My Clients
My approach celebrates diversity & agency, centering inner work through formative, relational & systemic awareness. I welcome all identities & lived experiences, supporting LGBTQIA+ (asexual & aromantic inclusive), polyamorous & nontraditional communities, & those navigating neurodivergence, cultural identity, chronic illness & other marginalized experiences. I welcome secular & spiritual existential exploration of meaning, agency & belonging, including processing around religious trauma.
My Background and Approach
Whether you have specific goals in mind, or simply sensing the need for change, therapy can help. This journey often includes self-exploration, emotional processing, cognitive patterns, interpersonal needs, transitions & values-based living. Couples therapy often centers on communication, ruptures, attachment needs, & building intentional connection across diverse relationship structures. My approach is individualized & responsive. Sessions may unfold organically through conversation, or include more structured elements like workbooks, reflective exercises, or creative projects, depending on your preferences. We’ll draw primarily from Acceptance & Commitment (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Schema, Solution-Focused, Attachment, Relational, Existential, Feminist, Mindfulness, Multicultural, & Trauma-Informed modalities.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a queer, neurodivergent, first generation immigrant, with a history of existential quests, & a firm belief in the feedoms of nonconformity. I've lived everything in my "approach" statement to varying degrees, as is often the case with therapist population leanings. My main recalibration go-tos are mindfulness, connection, & creative outlets. Fun facts: I'm arranging a climbing-wall for my kitty rescues, which will definitely be visible in sessions. I'm also slowly designing a therapeutic-adjacent table top role play gaming system. I enjoy thinking of mechanics for pursuit of goals, living out values, & working on chosen skills. I love that this prompt was added to therapist profiles. I encourage everyone to arrange a few intro calls before beginning sessions, because finding a therapist you'll mesh well with on a basic human level, makes all the difference.
