About My Clients
I work with clients navigating unpredictable life changes, family challenges, and the effects of childhood trauma. In our first sessions, we will create a plan tailored to your needs and guided by your preferences. Together, we will work to strengthen relationships, manage stress, and help you move through life's ups and downs with greater confidence and clarity.
My Background and Approach
I have over seven years of experience supporting individuals healing from childhood abuse and neglect, as well as those navigating the effects of domestic violence and substance use. I earned my Master of Social Work degree and am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State. I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. My approach combines psychodynamic therapy and motivational interviewing to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change. Together, we will explore how past experiences may impact your present while working toward goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and self-understanding.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that life’s challenges are not meant to be faced alone. Many of the struggles we experience in the present can be connected to unresolved pain, adversity, and difficult experiences from the past. By exploring these experiences in a supportive and compassionate space, healing and meaningful growth become possible. My goal is to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they work through challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
