I especially enjoy working with clients that are motivated to make changes or that need a space for processing grief and trauma. Are you deconstructing religion? Would you like to reduce shame in sexuality and increase pleasure? Are you working on understanding your emotions? Are you striving to be a better partner? These are all clients I particularly enjoy working with.
My Background and Approach
I have always loved people and truly seek to understand others in a supportive and non judgmental way. I strive to help people heal and grow and to create healthy and rewarding relationships. I take a collaborative approach with clients. This might look like giving resources, citing research, listening and validating, or using a whiteboard to visually represent what is concerning you. You know yourself and your circumstances best. I am here to focus in on what might need changing, collaborate ideas on how to go about that, give homework where necessary, and give a nudge to help you grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that humans are wired for connection. Often connection begins with understanding ourselves. Understanding our own needs, emotions, responses and patterns can increase our satisfaction and connection with others.
