About My Clients
Many of my clients have always felt that they are different from other people, and that things that seem easy for other people are harder for them. They may feel burned out or overwhelmed, and that the strategies that got them to this point aren't working anymore. My clients want to feel more at ease with themselves, and to show up more authentically in their lives. They are tired of the energy it takes to pretend to be neurotypical, and are trying to figure out how to support their own needs.
My Background and Approach
You don't need to feel like you have answers that you don't have, or that you have to think or feel in a certain way. However you show up today is what is needed today. You won't be alone as you explore thoughts and feelings that may have felt difficult to share with others in your lives. I provide a gentle and compassionate approach to support you in uncovering your own values, strengths, and grieving the unfair pressures of the neurotypical world. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in providing a neuro-affirming approach. It is the external circumstances that make a brain difference into a diagnosis, and different neurotypes shouldn't be pathologized but encouraged for their own uniqueness. I support Trans rights, anti-racism, lbgtqa rights, and immigrant rights. My own identities are white, fat, gender-fluid but cis passing woman.
