About My Clients
If you've ever been told you're "too sensitive," struggle to say no without guilt, or feel stuck in the same relationship patterns, you're not alone. I work with adults navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, communication challenges, boundary setting, and life transitions. Together, we'll build practical skills, deepen self-understanding, and help you create healthier relationships with others and yourself.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida dedicated to helping adults create healthier relationships with themselves and others. I specialize in anxiety, communication challenges, boundary setting, people-pleasing, self-esteem, and life transitions. I approach this work with a warm and collaborative heart, blending evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR when clinically appropriate. Rather than simply talking about problems, we'll work together to understand patterns, build effective coping skills, strengthen self-compassion, and practice new ways of responding to what weighs heaviest on you now. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely accepted, respected, and safe to show up exactly as you are. My goal is to create a space where you feel like a person not just another appointment or a number. I value authenticity, kindness, and the belief that meaningful change comes through compassion rather than criticism. I welcome adults from diverse backgrounds, identities, cultures, and life experiences, and I strive to provide care that is culturally responsive, inclusive, and affirming. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, or a season of transition, I'll meet you with empathy, honesty, and encouragement.
