In our society, we don’t talk about it very much, but mental health "issues" are common and you're not "crazy" even if you are really struggling. Support and guidance in helping you live a present, joyful, whole-hearted, and meaningful life is my life's calling.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy includes advanced techniques based on scientific evidence. However, I'm not solely reliant on book-learning. Like you, I’ve been through both wonderful and terrible experiences. Merging training + life experience allows me to create a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where people are empowered to transform their lives via personal growth and intentional living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe: That therapy works when both of us are committed to your healing. That change is possible when you allow yourself the space to do the work. That you are strong enough to be present with what you are going through. That therapy should address the person as a whole - their mind, body, and spirit. That taking care of yourself is the most generous thing you can do for the world. That we can do hard things like going to therapy and we can do them and live better for it. That sometimes small steps in the right direction end up creating the leaps we need to overcome our toughest obstacles.
