About My Clients
Mrs. Lainez works with adults and adolescents and provides care for patients who struggle with symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and sleep disturbances as result of trauma, medical issues, grief and life challenges. Mrs. Lainez has excelled in her practice because she is passionate and committed to assisting her patients reach their goals. Also, she is fluent in Spanish and English and is competent in Hispanic cultural needs.
My Background and Approach
Mrs. Lainez studied at University of California Los Angeles, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Welfare. She has extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her treatment approach is rooted in eclectic therapy and often pulls from evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral, attachment-based, mindfulness-based, narrative, psychodynamic, and solution focused therapy methods. Mrs. Lainez has established a collaborative and individualized approach that has been a crucial part of her practice and their patients' success and progress. Mrs. Lainez’s main goals for her patient include utilizing strengths patients already have and developing healthy coping mechanisms to reach healing. She believes that in her practice, her patients can find a safe empathetic space to embark on a journey of self-awareness. She has a unique view and experience that will help patients improve their present situation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
She is inspired by the resilience and endurance of her patients and wants that same inspiration to translate to her patients' treatment. As an individual who has faced physical and emotional illness, Mrs. Lainez believes in the importance of making quality care available for all.
