Life is full of unexpected turns and sometimes, we end up stuck in a place we don't want to be. I believe everyone has the strength in them to find peace, to better themselves and their environment, and to reach their goals. There are always changes in life that require adjustment, but they’re not always easy and not often fun. Let me help you find the path you want to be on.
My Background and Approach
I believe it takes great courage to recognize something is not going the way you want AND seek help. That action means you are open to other paths for your life and I am ready to give you a compass, but not a map. I believe you are the expert on your life so my job is to help you remember ways you have overcome issues in the past and highlight your skills and abilities to help you find your way to a path you want. I have worked in many settings during my years as a therapist and I am able to help you focus on one thing when it feels like there are so many areas you need or want to improve. We will take things one step at a time but I will help you move on to be the best version of yourself you desire.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life is difficult and asking for help requires great strength. If you’re ready and willing to take the steps to change your life, I am ready to walk beside you. My goal in therapy is to walk with you on your path and provide an encouraging environment to facilitate growth in your life. With training in various therapy models, I am able to help you connect to the present, adjust your expectations, and make conscious decisions to reach your goals for your life. I want to hear about your life and the path you are on. I want to know what is not working for you, what methods you have tried in the past, and how we can work together to find a new path for you.
