About My Clients
I work with folks who carry a lot on their shoulders—often the ones others turn to for support. Many are feeling tired, disconnected, or unsure of who they are outside of family roles and expectations. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, reflect, and start putting yourself first. Together, we explore how past experiences shape the present, build boundaries with care, and reconnect with the version of yourself that feels most authentic.
My Background and Approach
I'm Ana, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist passionate about helping adolescents and adults navigate the stress, expectations, and emotional weight of daily life. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and affirming—especially for those who often carry the emotional load for others. I specialize in supporting first-generation students, BIPOC, and members of marginalized communities– especially Latinx clients and eldest daughters– who are ready to heal generational wounds, set boundaries, and reconnect with their authentic selves to reclaim their own voice and identity. My approach is psychodynamic and strengths-based, grounded in unconditional positive regard and cultural humility. I believe in getting to the root of what’s showing up on the surface—exploring past experiences, thought patterns, and emotional responses—while also providing practical tools for navigating the present.
